Paranoia and Cameras

What is up, everyone. It's me. I'm back. With some more random BS that nobody cares about, but that's okay because I don't do this for anyone else. It's for my own sanity. It helps keep me sane. And busy.

I've been watching a lot of documentaries today. I love the ones that are politically driven, or conspiratorial in some way. Those are the most thought provoking for me. Maybe because I believe some of the theories (there are certainly a few things that I really do believe),  or it could just be that I'm paranoid. Which is true. I've been watching horror movies since I was extremely young. I love them more than any other genre, but they've really screwed with my brain. I don't mind. Sometimes being paranoid is what keeps you alive. You're always ready for something to happen, so when it finally does, you're prepared.

What do you guys think about the NSA spying on webcams and phones and stuff? It has been proven that they have done that in the past, you know. I don't want to go on some rant about the government. i don't have the energy right now, but it is interesting to think about. I know that they still do look in every so often. I know because I have seen how easy it is for anyone to do that.

Chatroulette? Omegle? Ever heard of those websites? They're made for people that want to connect and chat with people all over the world. When I was in high school, this was my favorite thing to do when I was bored with friends. Mostly, it was for messing with people. Pulling stupid pranks, or making people uncomfortable by saying crude things to them. But, there were times when I was the one getting messed with. I've seen fake break-ins, cheap scares, stuff like that. They do their stunt, and then laugh at you for believing that it was real. One time that really scared me: Someone had taken my webcam footage, and was projecting it onto their computer, so I was looking at myself. That was weird, and a little freaky. They had hacked my camera or something. I quickly shut my laptop because I was afraid that they would be able to steal other stuff. I don't know what, but that's the scary part. You don't know what they can take until they take it.

What about Black Mirror? Anyone seen that show? It's fantastic, and very thought-provoking. There's one episode, I think it's in the newest season, of a kid on his computer. He looks at porn, masturbates, and then goes about his day like normal. But, he finds out that someone had taken footage of him from his webcam masturbating, and was threatening to send the video to everyone he knows if he doesn't follow all of the intruders instructions. The teenager has to do all of these things, and he even meets other people along the way that are also doing things for the anonymous person. I won't spoil the ending, but it really makes you paranoid the next time you notice your phone's front camera or built in webcam on your laptop. It's a little freaky.

Anyway, I got to go guys, I hope you all enjoyed this weird trip down freaky-paranoid lane. See you tomorrow. Buh-bye.
